November 7, 2009 (by Horatio Algren) According to reports by Silverlake Bus Accident Attorney, Michael Ehline, a collision involving an MTA bus in Silver Lake left 19 injured.
According
Los Angeles Police Department Officer Gregory Baek an accident
involving MTA bus 92 occurred at approximately 6:00 p.m. Friday and
another vehicle. The accident occurred on Glendale Boulevard in the
vicinity of the 2 Freeway when the bus was traveling northbound near
the freeway ramp.
MTA bus 92 collided with a car and injured passengers on the bus, according to Central Traffic Division Sgt. Gregory Hoyte. According to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson Erik Scott, ten passengers were transported to a nearby hospital.
There were also passengers with minor injuries that were treated at the scene of the collision.
According
to Sgt. Hoyte the driver of bus 92 was transported to the hospital and
it is believed the driver suffered injuries prior to the accident and
lost control of the bus. This is due to the driver hitting the middle
divider and another object prior to the collision with the car.
There was no one injured in the vehicle that was involved in the car according to Sgt. Hoyte. Ehline Law is an MTA Bus Accident Lawyer, assisting injured victims with legal issues regarding transportation laws in California.
